Black Owned Restaurants to support in the DMV & Baltimore now!!
Hi Loves - with everything going on across the U.S. I felt that now more than ever it's time to unite and support our own! Below you will find some restaurants that I love. After seeing the outrageous and heartbreaking video of Atlas Restaurant Group Ouzo Bay turning away a mother and her kid (for being black - since both kids in the video were wearing similar outfits) I knew I had a responsibility to not only educate my followers but use my platform to make it easier to call out these businesses. I am done with supporting businesses that DON'T care about us, especially when they blatantly disrespect our black brothers and sisters. This year the focus should be prioritizing the support of black and brown businesses, period. There are so many businesses especially in my city (Baltimore) that can use our support and are even better than those racist businesses. My personal top 5 favorite spots you have to check out in Baltimore are below:
